私は韮崎市穴山町に滞在し制作しました。
滞在し生活する中で出会う様々な出来ごとが刺激となり、それが、その土地で表現する上での手がかりになります。
ここでおきることのすべてが、制作に関わっていると実感できます。それは生活の一部に制作があり、
制作の一部に生活があるように感じられる時間です。
この《韮崎の木》は、韮崎市穂坂町で立ち枯れていた樹齢約５０年のアカマツの木です。山の斜面に生えていた
一本の木の根は、しがみつくように力強く広がっていました。木は、私達の歩く世界の下に、まだ見ぬ世界を広げています。
立ち枯れた木は、いずれ大地へと還っていくでしょう。その一時の時間を借りて、木はここにあります。
I reside in Anayama Town Nirasaki City.Residing and living my life here, I had time to really consider the place,
and my thoughts about the local landscape multiplied.
Various events encountered in those everyday situations are stimulus and it becomes a clue to express in this place.Everything
that happened here can be linked to my work. The artwork was a part of everyday, and everyday was a part of the artwork.
“Tree of Nirasaki” is about 50 years old Japanese red pine who withered at Nirasaki City Hosaka Town.
The root of a tree growing on the slope of the mountain was powerfully spreading to cling.
Trees belong to another world hidden below our feet as we go about our lives, spreading out unseen.
The withered tree will go back to the earth either.Taking the temporary time, the tree is here.
