木を掘り出す為の一つ一つの過程がかけがえなく、私は少しづつ木に触れていきます。
木に関わることによって、木が生えている場所や地域との関わりを持っていきます。

この木は人が農地を離れたことで育ちました。
そしてまた、長い年月を経て開墾されることで切り株となりました。この根には、この土地の記憶が秘められているのではないだろうかと思いました。

Every single process for digging up the tree is irreplaceable, I’m touching the tree little by little.
And by concerning the tree, I concern the place and the area where the tree grow.

This tree was be able to grow up, because people left the farmland. Then, after the long years,
the land was cultivated again, and the tree became the stump.
I think such memories of the land might be kept in the roots.
