Langeland tree

Langeland tree

At first, just a single line.
It stretched longer, spread out, grew fatter and the tree became bigger.
The roots spread out before this eye are the traces of 250 years of support. A small part of it

Think of when the branch was here.
The roots support a great trunk, the branches cover the sky, the sunlight leaking through must have been very pleasant, and at the moment when the branches and leaves are covered and wrapped by the trees,
The moment the branches and leaves were covered and wrapped by the trees, it would have been as if I were in the forest too.

For 250 years, the tree that created the gentle sunlight through the trees,
It became ill and stopped breathing.
Now it is about to return to the earth again, and I’m borrowing it for a moment.
The roots I dug out were just the top layer of 250 years of accumulation, and I wonder how long and rich the roots have grown from there.

Looking at the roots, getting to know the tree, thinking about it, feeling the time that has passed.

The old oak tree looking back would have left a similarly long trail.
It extends equally beneath the branches all over the forest, creating a subterranean world that cannot be seen.

If you can feel the underground world as you touch the trees
you feel the roots spreading out beneath the branches, and you become more integrated into the forest.
